And Cecilia ´s heart was claiming the same as everybody´s :
"Napoleon Bonaparte must be stopped!"
And she would support the allies with her most powerful weapon: her music.
I had to the courage to colour my lineart and I didn´t die from crazyness!!!
Honestly, this is far from being perfect. I am a humble amateur and I did my best on colouring a very, very and giga-mega-complicated lineart
It took me at least 2 weeks doing the colouring and I still wished I did better. But life is a constant lesson, so everyday I am learning something.
I did this, because I wanted my vision to come true.
This is one of the most important scenes from the book I´m writting, so I was dying to put my imagination to life.
This is one of the most powerful drawings I ever made, and I have a great confidence that everybody that sees this and takes a liking of it into their
s , will have good luck.
Something good will happen to you in a close future
So gentle comments and
s will be welcomed! Yesterday´s note:This is probably the most complex illustration I ever posted in my gallery, and the reason I went this far is that this scene is one of the most crucial episodes from my entire book.
I had the image clear in my head, and I spent an entire week working on it.
Of course, I USED SEVERAL REFERENCES. Drawing horses and men is a very difficult thing for me, so I will mention where I got each character´s pose:
For one of the horses from the right, I used a Leonardo Da Vinci´s horse study [link]
For the British Hussars uniforms, I got the references from this historical forum [link]
For a couple of horses, I studied carefuly some of Mark Churms pictures, and I highly recommend visiting his gallery because he´s AWESOME painting historical scenes..especially the ones about the Battle of Waterloo!!
Also, I did this illustration not only because I was dying to represent my book, but there are people who inspired me to give my best in each artwork.
I dedicated my artwork to:
because her sweetness made me feel very lucky and grateful to have met her
Her arts and her gentleness helped me a lot during last year, and I feel I changed for better after meeting her
With this, I send you my and you are my dearest friend
What you said to my in my "Riding in the sunset" artwork made me feel so proud and happy! Those cheerful words, from such tallented artist, inspired me to do my best in my future arts
I met you only two weeks ago, but after seeing your illustrations and your sweet words, inspired me to improve as an artist Thank you!!!!
And I also dedicate this for every writer who wants to see their dreams come true, and I encourage you to keep writting!!!
